    1995 Saturn DOHC PCM reprogramming?

    This 1995 Saturn SL2 has an OBD1 connector.

    does it have a removable PROM or is everything soldered down and requires flashing to upload a new program?

    The PCm has one access panel and there is not prom inside the access. I would think being a 95 it would be a flash.

    probably. so it's likely a flash unit. not impossible to deal with, just a pain to get started with. if you were able to pull the BIN and identify the processor that's in the PCM, then it could be hacked.

    I'm just suprized that no one else has worked on these PCMs.
    I'll will give it a try sometime, I have a few other things I need to get done first like swap out a 700r4 in my pickup.
