94 Silverado hesitation and no power

Hi guys. Recently purchased a 94 Silverado and it has no power at all, if i step on it throttle suddenly it will hesitate badly almost to a stall if i don’t let go. I rebuilt the throttle body, including the fuel pressure regulator but that didn’t help at all, truck just idles a bit better now. I hooked up my actron scanner and the only thing that looked abnormal were the LT fuel trim and o2 sensor readings. Can anyone help out? I don’t wanna assume it’s the fuel pump but I’m starting too. Need to check timing and need to check the fuel pressure.

Catalytic converter could be suspect.

That’s what i was thinking too. Would a smog test be able to verify this for me?
