    Greetings from S.W. Pennsylvania

    Just saying Hi! Working on a TBI Mercruiser based on a GM 305 V8

    Using TunerCat and wanted to check some stock eprom bin files for the 1227747

    welcome. i know both mercruisers and the 7747 moderately well, maybe i can help. TBI with stern drives was a really short lived thing, yours was factory TBI?

    Thanks, they are not stock Mercruiser setups. I have two to work with (only need one in the end.) Both where carb 305's from the early 1990's with Alpha One drives. I've got them on engine stands, where I will be able to test run them before attempting installing one in a hull. One motor is stock Mercruiser with about 50 hours on it. The other is out of a C/K pickup and had been in storage since it was overbored and has a roller cam (Crane RV/Towing cam). Whoever gets installed will get the freshwater cooling setup, so I should be able to treat it like a truck motor with a regulated temp.
