    Hello All,

    Hello All,

I have a 1991 Chevy K1500 fleet side short bed regular cab Z71 that I bought new in 91. I love my old truck but lately it's been giving me some trouble. I just put a disc brake conversion on the rear. Best braking and pedal feel this truck ever had!
But on my test drive cruzeing through the neighborhood at slow speed it started to stumble. After some troubleshooting I unplugged the vac hose to the egr and problem gone!

I would like to tune out the EGR but I'm not sure if it's worth
The investment to buy all the stuff to tune it myself. Maybe I Could find someone to burn me a chip with the EGR delete.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here and I'm sure I will learn more than I ever thought I wanted to!

Sorry about the pic, can't get it to show upright?

if your only goal is to delete the EGR, sending the chip to someone for a quicky EGR delete is definitely a good option

people on this forum tune themselves but for such a simple change that time you spend will never pay you back

i would delete your EGR for like a case of beer but i'm not sure how far away you are
