Modifying the '7730 V6 Memcal for V8 is low cost, simple, and very effective. I've been there, done that, and the results have provided many, many miles of smiles.
Thanks Dave, just purchased memcal, hopefully it will resolve some of my issues

I suspect there might be a knock frequency difference between the V6 Memcal Knock Filter board vs. V8 Memcal Knock Filter board.

    I use the 1227730 V8 TPI 4K knock sensor after modifying the V6 Memcal for a V8.

Would you have a part number by chance.
Also if I use this I would connect directly to pin F9 with no resistor? Right

I see some clarification might be required when converting a ‘7730 V6 Memcal to V8.
    1. Install jumper into '7730 V6 Memcal, no other '7730 V6 Memcal modification needed or required.
    2. Install ‘7730 TPI 4K knock sensor into engine block. I use Standard Motor Products knock sensor part number KS6.
    3. Connect Knock Sensor connector wiring directly to ‘7730 pin F9.

Hey All, 7730 installed w/v6 mod memcal, had to change injector flow rate to 24 to get it to clear flood and run, the biggest issue is I a getting CTS & MAT Low errors they are connected to E16 & F 16 grounded to B5& B6.
Tuner Pro RT latest and & $8D. Both worked connected to earlier ecm . is it an addressing issue or what ???
both edited to show F instead of Celsius reading 32 and not changing, start up engine temp reads 265 stone cold????????????????????

The schematics I have for the 7730 Sensors:

    F16 - MAT Signal
B5 - MAT Ground (Low Reference)

    E16 - CTS Signal
B6 - CTS Ground (Low Reference)

Maybe try the attached $8D .adx file, "WITHOUT" the 10K jumper on the ALDL Cable.
