6litre to 4.8

Hi..am I able to refresh a 6 litre computer(which I have hp tuners access to) to all the parameters of a 4.8 engine? I'm hoping to clone my 6 litre computer to keep my hp tuners access(removed vats) and use the computer in a 4.8 engine application? If so, how do I go about it

Hello,

HPTuners is locked to your VIN and maybe other things as well. You may have to manually enter values from a 4.8 calibration into your pcm. It would help if you can identify your operating system so you can see if the same operating system was used with a 4.8.

Hi...Thanx for responding. Heres what I am trying to do. i have a 6 litre computer that is unlocked to my hp tuners. My friend wants to do a swap but his motor is a 4.8. I figured i could clone my computer with LSdroid to get around the VATS thing, but I assume the parameters are different from a 6litre to a 4.8. So, I was wondering theres an easy way to put the 4.8 parameters onto a cloned 6 litre DBW computer
