Thanks for allowing me to join the club. I have a 2000 Silverado/4.8 with Howards Cams, springs, pushrods, trunion kit, 2,500 converter and other odds and ends. Has been tuned with HP Tuners from a dude out of Texas. Does good on 96 octane (BOOSTANE) but holds back on 93 octane. I know the compression is low enough to run 93 octane if the timing wasn't advanced. My goal is to learn how Tuner Pro works and retard the timing some? I think is all it needs.
