    New to the forums

    Hello all,

I discovered these forums after browsing the GMT400.com forums, and found those after researching issues with the 1995 K2500 350 tbi w/ 4l60e trans I bought a couple months ago. You should've seen the look my dad and I shared when we went to hook up the scanner and found it was an OBD1!

Since then, It's been a journey learning all kinds of things about the truck and the 350. My current stage is configuring TunerPro after getting a cable. I'm excited to keep checking out the posts on this forum and learning from the posts here.

nice truck, a lot of knowledgeable people on this site, especially with old OBD1 rides.

Be advised your truck is, I believe, the first year for Elect control of trans thus your computer is a one year only setup.

    I have a 95 Chevy.

Hey, thank you for the heads up. I got some pics of the PCM and was directed to a thread regarding that specific one that seems very helpful.

Not exactly true. The electronic shift automatics started appearing around late 92 in trucks. Your 7427 ecm started appearing in early 94. Each was produced by the thousands.

Yes but, IIRC the 95 was the only year with PWM in the trans.

BTW @Moss95 welcome to the dark side!

Question for you guys: What are the differences between the 1995 k1500 and k2500? I can't find much on it besides people saying they're very similar, maybe stronger rear leaf springs?
