Thread: Looking for help for a 700r4 tp 4l60e swap using 0411 pcm

    yeah I checked fuse, and the ecu is scanning properly and monitoring rpom and tps like it should so Im assuming this is good.

    Trans is unknown, but throwing out every single solenoid and tcc electrical code at once seems odd, and et kinda want to work like it should for a sec when I erase them. all the wiringharness is complete from a 2002 blazer. thats why ide rather make sure the programation is good or not before opening up the trans and all that.

    this is what I followed, in my case, trans is already wired up to the ecu so I only spliced all the required 12v ground and sensor into the 0411 from the astro and seems to be working as it should. I could not follow the instruction on tuning since I only have tunerpro

    I guess it depends what you wanna do, gotta consider all that ckp / cam correlation that vortec engine use.

    Seems to me like solenoids are missing power or ground?
    Maybe back probe at the trans connector to verify grounds and power is reaching correct pins?

    is there a way to to segment swap the trans config from a 1998 bin ? I know there is some on the site but I dont even know if its compatible with tuner pro

    Segment swaps have to have the same operating system on parameters.
    No need to re-invent the wheel. But we can make it better

    it was indeed the pink wiring powering the trans that did not have 12v on it, I supose it take it from somewhere else I didnt power up in the harness, then I got the speed sensor to read something as well and im out of limp mode and actualy shifting gears ! now I cant say if the calibration are good or undrivable but it is a pretty damn good start. I will post my finding soon for the people of the future tyvm for taking the time !

    Glad you got it figured out.

    What Size tire and Ratio are you running?

    Speedo Should be pretty close if you are running 3.42's and 26 inch tires,
    If running something else, would be best to have the proper VSS settings, as shifting is scheduled by MPH, not RPM

    3.42 and 215/70 r15 (26.85 inch.) but yeah I will need some fine tuning, its shifting a bit too fast at low throttle, and I know very litle about tcc lock and all that stuf so I need to comfirm that it is working as it should.

    looks like 12202088 OS
    I think I went with a base calibration from a 2001 s-10 2wd wich seemed closer to my astro's spec than a 4x4 blazer.

    215/70-15

    751.13 revs per mile

    751.13 * 3.42 gear ratio
    =2568.8646 trans revolutions per mile

    2568.8646 * 40 pules per rev =
    102754.584 vss pulses per mile.

    Change HO104 TOS Revolutions per mile to 2568.87
    And HO101 VSS pulse per mile to 102754

    And that should get things shifting at the MPH you tell it to.

    Here you can see up shift to 4th is commanded before lk in 3rd.
    4th is set to lk at 46 mph
    and 2nd lk is dissabled

    Here is a copy of my spreadsheet I use to aid in shift schedules.

    I already put in your stock tcc and shift tables for normal mode

    It should help you visualize the changes you make and how it affects other parameters with the graphs.

    what does 'ho104 tos' stand for ? I found the pulse per miles setting but not the other one
