Cannot seem to get AE/PE right

    Hi all,

95 Yukon 2wd with $0D. 350, AFR aluminum heads with 2.02 valves, XR258 Comp Cams cam, HEI, 46mm TBI on top of a 2" bore adapter to square bore dual plane intake. Shorty headers, dual electric fans. 255LPH fuel pump with CFM adjustable fuel pressure regulator. The regulator is cranked to 23psi at the moment. Fuel filter is a year old and has less than 10k on it.

I've been able to burn chips and tune it using Dave W's spreadsheet and TunerPro. It runs pretty well, except I cannot get it to stop leaning out and popping when I stomp on the gas. I've adjusted TPS and MAP AE values, PE, etc. but no change in the behavior. Once it recovers it has a ton of power, but that initial stomp damn near kills it.

Any ideas on what to adjust?

    Thanks!
    Mike

I started with the stock bin (BJYL) settings. The ADX file is not quite clear on how any changes up or down affect the delay. Figured someone might have run into this.

Are you using an AFR Meter?

Maybe post a data log when the AE / PE is active.

Perhaps B3411 STOMP Compensation and B3412 STOMP Reduction.

To be clear, if you roll into the throttle it is OK?

    Hiya,
Does this have stock injectors or aftermarket replacements? I've only seen this happen with aftermarket and high fuel pressure as they are then slow to respond. That big manifold and spacer will need quite a bit of change to AE.
Can you post your stock BJYL as well as your current tune. The latest file I have, in that series, is a BJYK. When things work right, you should be able to drown it at will, even with a supercharger.

I think I got it figured out. I had to edit the VE table for low RPM high MAP and enrichen it. I also had to increase the AE vs TPS Difference table by 3x from stock.

Is the AEM 3110 0-5v output 10-20 AFR?

PE delay wasn't the issue. It was more AE and a lean condition when stomping the pedal. I provided the fix a few posts up.
