I wrote tool to brutforce key for reading/flashing E38 ECU. (with non standart key)
Tool have power control to reboot ecu correctly.
May be somebody have this ECU, need to test tool.

Interesting how I cannot read the source file. I can already beat up ANY e38, your files are suspect, hate to say if you are actually contributing.

How can they be suspicious if the full source code is posted on github?
All you need to run is python 3.12 x32, a j2534 device (I use scanmatik), and a single transistor device for power management.

May be somebody know tool/way to write original Key to ECU?
Or just rewrite changed eeprom area (0xC000 - 0xFFFF), with changed key.
...or may be just CAN command?
for ex. - change VIN

Vin can be changed but seed/key is not possible with current tools. You need a program that will rewrite the eeprom section.
I am not sure you really need power cycle the pcm.
The sequence is request seed->test key1, test key2 ->wait 10 seconds->request seed->test key3,test key4->and so on.
You can monitor the responses of pcm, usually there is 34 for success and some other 35,37 for different conditions not met.

Till now - i have ecu with unknown key, so test it with most strong method..
