Just introducing myself .. i`m in San Antonio, TX building a 1995 GMC G30 van into a 4x4 camping rig with a 5.3 LS. Arrived here when I started dealing with BINS and so forth, will post asap. I will need to module swap mine from a 4l60e to a 4l80e.

I'm new here and I'm happy to tell you about my project: I'm restoring a 79 CJ-5 with AMC-304 that I bought back in '83 from a buddy who bought it new in '79. It's been sitting around since about 2000 while I was too busy raising kids to think about it. Now, I'm trying to make it CA street legal. I put in a somewhat used (CARB-approved) Howell TBI-EFI conversion kit, and right now i'm trying to get it to run right. I'm just an amateur car mechanic with no prior EFI experience.
