Adding a map sensor to a CobraRTP emulator

In the Cobra emulator instructions it shows that sensors can be added to the emulator on a analog port. It shows the wire for a map sensor going to the emulator and the ecm. My car does not have a map sensor, I would like to add a 3bar sensor for a supercharger. Can I just add it to the emulator on one of the analog pins? I would like a map sensor reading for fueling under boost.

As I understand the purpose of the additional inputs, they are for logging reference only and will not modify the actual function of the ECU/BIN/Tune file loaded to the Cobra RTP. It also sounds like the additional inputs may only work with a stand alone datalogging software and may not be able to bring that info into an existing XDF.

It would be interesting if there was a way to have sensors directly connected to an emulator to be used within the BIN file on the emulator.
