Was the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) programmed for 2000 pulses per mile?
The 7730 TPI computer is 4000 Pulses Per Mile.
The 8062 TBI computer is 2000 Pulses Per Mile.

I Thank you! I will do that. I was thinking, that I was to jump it. I have the harness a done (I hope) other then to do that. I have it waiting to do it. It's cold out, and I have it inside, to work on it as I get time to. Thanks again guy's, I really appreciate it! I started this to long ago, I need to get it back on the road again.
I believe he fixed that with mine, or I should say we talked about it. That was 2-3 yrs ago. We did look it up, so that he knew what to do to be right.
I think this thread is an opportunity for me to give back like many others have shared their time and information. Many years ago I came across a thread, on a different website, showing how to upgrade from a first generation TBI computer to a second generation TBI computer. I'm following in the footsteps of others, in a similar way.
As a moderator here; I will lock this thread, make some edits, and move this thread to the technical writeups section once I've completed the documentation.
