I have been building/tuning a heavily modified custom dune vehicle for a few years. I really think that the Boost OS v4 patch will solve my issues tuning. It started life as a 2001 Tahoe DBC 4l60 we have broken and updated just about everything you could think of. 2 Engines, 4 different trans, gears, rear end on and on...

The hurdle is the PCM needs to be upgraded to a p59 7603 OS for the most current release of B.OS.4. I have repined and swapped to a p59 blue green ecu from a 2006 Express van (With IAC)
I changed to a compatible 7603 OS.
I have the 2004-4.8L-LR4-DBC-4L80E-Express-Van-12587603-OS-STOCK.bin and it will start and idle the cam really messes with air ratios at low rpm.
I can't figure out how the heck I start when my combo doesn't exist from the factory.
I know can't just copy my tune because the OS is different and my 411 VE table is not great to begin with.
I know the segment swap procedure, but there is no DBC 5.3 Calibration for a 7603;
Questions
1. Can I use a 5.3 DBW Cal from a 2004 Bin and just change the ETC in the system options, Using the mother of all 7603 xdf file.
2. When I have a running Bin
a. I then apply the boost os exe, correct?
b. after I update bin, do I use the xfd from the boost os from that point forward for tuning anything?
