can I perform live datalogging with an OTC4000e?

can I use an OTC400e to perform datalogging and export that datalog into tunerproRT?

there seem to be many for sale for cheap money, just wondering. I do have a cable that I haven't tried yet, but I'd like to have something that is self contained for datalogging.

I tried the reddevilriver bluetooth scan cable and ALDLDriod on my android, but it would not gather anything at all, not even any codes or anything...

thoughts? this is on a 1987 vette.

Not surprised; those early ECMs were not designed for datalogging like the later ECMs are. They're the ones where you have to shunt a 10k resistor across the line to put it into diagnostic mode, which locks your timing and does all sorts of other things while you're pulling data. Sure, you can datalog...but you can't actually get an accurate picture of what would be happening during normal driving conditions with one of those old computers.

    Hope that helps.
