this ecu was for my 4.8 but i replaced the motor with a 5.3 and threw a cam in it.

no other bolt ons everything besides camshaft and its components are stock.
can someone help me get my truck running on a decent tune, thanks in advance. would like as much chop as possible, though i know the size of the cam there is only a slight amount available. using an OBDlink LX through PCM hammer and Tuner Pro RT.
Typically, decreased (retarded) timing at idle will give you the "chop" that comes from large overlap camshafts. So if you remove timing at idle it should get your desired results. Keep in mind this possibly will require other tune related items to take care of throttle bog, and even a higher stall torque converter.
You should also probably adjust your cylinder volume and will have to probably play with your volumetric efficiency at both the low RPM and higher RPM to compensate for your camshaft.
