    12212156 OS Cylinder Airmass

    Hello all,

Im working on the VE calibration for my 02 corvette. Just installed headers and X pipe. I've gotten fueling really close, but I am getting P1514 at lower RPMs at 90-95 kPa. I know there are tables that can be adjusted in HPT to fix this. Is there a workaround I can use?

This is my first tune. I'm pretty happy with myself for getting my method/workflow to where it is, so I'm really hoping I don't need to switch to HPT at this point.

There are 2 tables under engine diagnostics for the etc predicted airflow. Nothing I’ve had to mess with but could start there.

That's were I have heard it is in HP tuners, but I found no such thing.

I was thinking MAP rationality test, but I haven't gotten a P0106. But it also seems strange I'm running into this problem with just long tube headers.

Same issue here. I tried to see if that XDF would work just for that table on my OS, but it didnt look right.

Here’s what is it looks like and the xdf version I was just looking at. Sorry about the glare. I was outside. It’s the 2156 v3 xdf. Maybe the xdf you are using doesn’t have those tables.

Thats exactly what I am looking for!

I am using "12212156_release", that I think came in the TunerPro files, and those are missing. Where did you get that xdf from?

That definitely solved it. Someone on he tunerpro facebook group told me to just buy HPT. So, I'm glad to know its still possible to tune a 20 year old car on your own without spending $500.

A lot of advice given on Facebook can be crap because everyone seems to be a know it all but it’s sometimes harder to get a response on here on the forums. In a lot of cases the open source stuff has more capabilities than hp tuners. Hp tuners limits the tables while holding your hand while the open source stuff lets you roam free through many more tables. There’s just no one holding your hand or a big help line to help find what you need.

rather than spending $500 on HPT, i would just donate it straight to @pulse_gto ( phoenix on pcmhacking ) for the insane amount of work he has done on the P59 XDFs

edit: apparently you cant mention other users on this forum - oh well, he'll see it eventually

It's ok to mention other members, but only using their alias / avatar name.

Congrats on fixing it and sticking with free-as-in-beer software! Also screw people who tell other people to buy HPT to solve problems. Having to pay for the stuff is fine, if I actually owned the software after paying for it. But having to subscribe to software and be locked out of features or vehicles if I don't pay more is just disgusting. Software-as-a-Service can eat my shoe.

No need to donate any money to me, I do it so that people don't get taken to the cleaners by the big guys.

Glad you figured out your issue!
