Hi I’m new and doing a 4.3tbi to 5.7tbi

So I have a 1991 Chevy Cheyenne step side 2wd with a nv3500 it originally had a 4.3tbi in it it cracked the block so I bought a 1989 5.7tbi out of a suburban my question is what computer do I need to correctly run the 5.7 and the nv3500 the computer that was in the 4.3 is a 4288 awdr and the one out of the 5.7 is a 7747 anlw but I do not have the 5.7computer I did not want to get a computer until I knew which one I would need exactly to run my setup any help or advice would be much appreciated thanks in advance

i would use the 747 can find easily on eBay.

Why can’t I use just any computer from about the same year even if the ser numbs are different are the pin locations different I wouldn’t think they would change it up that much from truck to truck as long as it had the 350 in it

The '8062, '288, '299 and '7747 are all a pin for pin plug n play swap. In your case, there are no 5.7L '288 or '8062 for that matter. I'm $ure $omeone could make you one but it $till might need $ome tweak$ to run perfect. Your best bet is to locate a 5.7L '7747 and probably be done with it.

ANLW is a 5.7L 700r4 bin. Any 5.7L with a 5 speed should work for you...
