Hello everyone! Thanks for allowing me to join. I’ve been working on and restoring classic cars for 25+ years. I started working with fuel injection in 2004 by installing a 355 Tuned Port off an 86 F body in my 72 Monte Carlo, it turned out pretty bad because I couldn’t justify the money for a commercial stand alone harness and proper fuel system. I learned my lesson and moved on to LS based engines. I currently have a 69 GMC C1500 with an LM7/4L60E and an 87 GMC Jimmy with an LM7/4L65E. I’ve only removed vats and emissions related DTCs using HP tuners. I’m currently putting an L59 in a 66 Malibu wagon I recently bought and don’t want to spend the $90 in credits for every ecm, so I’m hoping to learn todo it without HPT and eventually learn the “tuning” aspect of it in the future. Thanks for having me!
