I've got a 2005 5.3 that got a 5 speed behind it. Needing some guidance on tuning for the manual transmission. Wants to die coming to a stop and idle hangs between shifts. Using tunerpro I've disabled vats already. And help would be greatly appreciated, I'm new to this tuning thing had a bbc 468 and now going LS.

Usually the lower the number the less it hangs. Also timing g too high can cause it to hang. It's a trial and error deal. Make sure your fueling is correct or you wind up chasing your tail.Originally Posted by TerryMiller

Thank you. I used a manual bin to change my values it seems to be working well other than the hanging rpm.
