TunerPro versions affecting the bin file?

I have an older version of TunerPro in the car than I have in my office.
The in car PC has NO networking turned on to stop updates running everytiei switch it on.

However whilst in the car the other night playing with the weird surge idle, I altered the bin file on the older version in the car & reflashed several times.
When I compared bins back in the office the spark advance was all messed up along with other tables.
I'm pretty certain i'm still using the same XDF in car (kur4o's).

Is this a known thing ??
I can't see how the bin format would/should be different from 1 version to another.

    Any thoughts anyone?

    Thanks
    Mitch
