Putting in a custom chip is exactly like your other TPI—the Moates adapter will be all you need.

The ADS/ADX however is not the same. Your 90 Corvette introduced a Central Control Module that controls the data bus. You need to acknowledge and silence this device before you can log from the ECM.

I have not yet tested TunerPro RT on my 90 so I can’t tell you if the available ADX files will work properly, but here you go: http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...ull=1#post2737

You’ll want the one that says “Y car” since that’s the Corvette.

I don't get out to play with the 90 C4 much. I have yet to successfully get TPRT to talk to the ECM. I've been able to do it with 1320 Electronics Bluetooth device and ALDLDroid. One thing that both have in common is silencing the CCM. If you key on engine off and connect, you'll see all the data but as soon as you start the engine, it'll re-start the CCM and ignore the previous silence command in which the data goes wonky. To get around this, start the engine first then connect your scanner of choice with the CCM silence command. Also been told that pulling the CCM fuse works, too.

There are multiple CCM fuses as I recall, and note that pulling those will cause several vehicle functions to stop working including your speedometer and rear defroster.

As that is undesirable operation, I do not recommend removing any fuses. Simply use a properly-coded interface to log with.
