    What works with Tech2Win

Am I able to use my tuner cat,or jet dst interfaces with Tech2Win software? Or must I go towards a MongooseProIIGM? Thanks

While I don't have an OBDII car, I know the OBDX Pro would work for most of those applications, so I must assume that the Tunercat/JET DST cable would work just as well. Give it a shot!

Sadly, I already tried both cables on three different machines (XP,10,11), no dice. Other programs will read them, just not Tech2. I added drivers from Tech2 as well, still nothing. Theres also no real way to configure Tech2Win either

I had a peek online and I suppose Tech2Win is being stingy with its adapters, which is unfortunate.

That being said, you don't need to go with the MongooseProIIGM. There are cheaper alternatives that will work.

As mentioned earlier, the OBDX Pro tools support J2534: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtTuFe5Lhmw

There is also the VXDIAG tools, which likewise support J2534: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYbb2eSeSpI

Either of those would be cheaper than the "official" cable.

Thanks, I agree with your alternatives. I was going to initially get the Vxdiag, but I ended up finding a Fongoose (Fake Mongoose), called GDS Pro. Hopefully it works.
