    Identify pcm?

I see references to PCM #'s .. for Bin's and such.. How do I identify the PCM i have? it's an OBD-1 1994 s10 Blazer with the CPI 4.3L, I found the correct definitions file (a178) trying to figure out what I need to edit tuning information.

also, it's apparently a replacement pcm, so i'll have to post some pics when i retake them...

It appears to be a 6395, Wich is basically the same thing as a 7427. It can run $od mask for 4l60e, or $oe for 4l80e.
You'll need an adx to data log and an XDF to edit the bin. If you do any VE changes I recommend you go to ecmhack.com and download trimalyzer.

No need to re-invent the wheel. But we can make it better

thank you, i kind of figured this out by doing a lot of searching and reading :)

I wanted to get data logging work... because I suspect my reman cpi unit is leaking. as soon as the engine goes closed loop, it pulls all the fuel out, the starts running like crap. looks like my o2 sensor was hanging out around 200mv but I need to figure out how to use TunerPro more::)

If you download the zip from the link I posted and use the XDF supplied with it, it makes it really easy to find the ve and spark tables. Read the (read me) file. It's a real short reason with screenshots
