Hello,
I'm here to do some reading and research for my 94 GMC K1500 350 TBI w/Vortec Heads and Roller Cam Swap. It also has stock exhaust, stock fuel pump, and an open air cleaner. I thought about paying for a custom tune from TBIchips but decided to see what's all involved first after seeing some negative reviews of "mail order chips". I've downloaded Tuner Pro, BJLF.bin, and Advanced_TP5_v250.xdf so far and am just now looking over the parameters.
The Stock Tune seems to be working fine so far with the timing a little advanced, but I have not been out too far for a test drive yet. If anyone has info to share for a similar setup I would appreciate any help. Although I am here to learn I also have 20 other projects to be working on, so for now I am just looking for a decent tune for daily driving with occasional snow plowing. I'm not really looking to be a Tuner expert, just looking for decent tunes.
Thanks for any guidance. I will be doing some reading and research throughout the site as time allows.
Neal
