    Fuel flow number inconsistency

I purchased a fuel pressure regulator spring from tbi chips that is made to boost my fuel pressure to 18 psi on 55 lb injectors. He said it will boost the flow rate to 72. The problem I'm having is that with the EBL utility I get a calculation significantly lower than 72 when I enter those numbers. To get 72# I have to enter 61# injectors into the utility @ 18psi. The entire point of buying the spring was to avoid purchasing new injectors unless I planned to go above about 325 horsepower, which I don't.

Are these numbers correct? Which numbers should I use and anyone know the offset?

    Thanks in advance.

    I'd believe the EBL Utility.
