    Open Loop, leaded fuel option on 1995 GM cars?

    Yup! I read an article on export vehicles that says GM did have an Open Loop, no cat, no O2 sensor option for some cars including the 1995-96 Impala SS that came with the LT-1 option. Interesting read...

    there are some Northstar cars that had the same treatment, made significantly more power than the US domestic markets as well, with increased fuel economy to boot!

    Yeah I could see more power and better fuel economy if you didn't have to meet goverment emmission standards...
