Hello all
I get lost & very frustrated with the Old school chip burning stuff. Some how pulled it off 6 years ago for a few cars. Bought the Moates stuff 6-7 years ago . I find it very difficult to understand & use. Been an ASE master tech since 1987 & tuning LS vettes for 12 years. I get the what & why. The how is another thing. I don't really no an XDF from a BIN def or a zif socket from a light socket. I came here for Info help & guidance. Hopefully I can be of some use to some of you in return. Currently working with an 1986 4+3 y body . Thats a 1227165 $32 in chip talk I think.

You've got a bigger head start then most! With a little learning you'll be fine. Check out this thread for the XDF, ADX, Bin, Mask thing and it'll all start to fall in place. Questions? Just ask! I'd like to make this thread a better learner if I can.
