    New Member Introduction

    Hi.
I purchased a used 1994 Chevy C1500 Extended Cab Pickup and have replaced sparkplugs, wires, distributor, MAP sensor, Fuel Pump, & other items but the truck still hesitates when I start to accelerate or go up a hill, especially after it warms up.

I purchased an OBD1 reader/scanner to Laptop Cable and have installed the Tuner.net program but have no idea what to do to diagnose problems. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions on tutorials or manuals that might help.

    Thanks

Welcome to the forum. There are a number of steps before Tunerpro will be able to display data for you. You will need a definition file for your truck. The best way to locate the correct definition file is to obtain the ecm number and the four letter code from the the chip inside the computer.
