New to tuning and getting ready to swap a fresh built 383 into my truck. Looking for all the info I can get, so I don't hurt my new engine, and can get it running good. Any help or tips would be appreciated. Currently having the issue of not finding any info specific to my prom number... 4298 BHAR. Apparently this is a rare one?
The 4298 BHAR (Scan id 4315) was the first release and was superseded at least twice. It was first replaced by 7762 BJJD (scan Id 7805) which was later replaced by 5199 BLCP (scan id 5185)Originally Posted by Hellbilly

BHAR is showing 5.7 / 4L60E / 3.42 gear ratio.
Perhaps BBMA, available at this link; http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...Information-E6 will be OK as a starter .bin file?
Thanks, good to know. I'm still building the engine... material shortages are making it hard to get parts in, but the cam kit I have on order is equivalent to 20120678. It's just not the retro fit version. Heads are AFR Enforcer 195cc. I already put shorty header with true dual 2.5" exhaust.

Sorry, I got logged out mid post and it didn't save my full reply. So what hardware do I need to order from moates? I was a little confused because nothing had my particular prom listed. I'm a little disappointed that they stopped selling the emulators before I got this far with the truck
