GIVING UP ON JET DST FOR 1997 CAMARO LT-1 WHAT IS THE BEST ALTURNITIVE?

GIVING UP ON JET DST FOR 1997 CAMARO LT-1 WHAT IS THE BEST TO TUNE WITH?

I've had it with my JET DST as it stopped communicating with my ECM. I tried 3 different ECMs thinking I had a brick
and of course there is no customer support. Good news is I am getting a full refund from where I bought it over a year ago!

My challange to all is what is the best? HP does not support me vechicle.

I want to buy the whole package, software and cables.

Your help is greatly appreciated. RK.

The only options are jet and tunercat. Tunercat is too expensive now to get.

Some guys are working on a free reflash program, but it is still being developed.

Is'nt Tuner Cat the same as JET DST POS?

I have a feeling that I,m gonna go old school 502 and be done with it.

2k+ was the last time I have seen it.

The main difference is with tunercat you get extensive support, while with jet you are on your own.
Do you have a pic of that jet POS, they might have changed something with the hardware.

You can also switch to 94-95 pcm which have very good support already.

0411 swap it. 0411 will run great without a cam sensor. Use the factory crank sensor and use the opti for the distributor function. Hook the ignition control module up to the 0411 just like you would an Express van. Load the Express van tune and tune with HP Tuners or EFI Live.

Might be a hack way to some, but I put a LT1 in an Astro van a couple years ago for a friend and it ran great. Set the cam sensor and crank correlation codes to flag silently and remove the SES flag from those codes.

I was actually suprised how well the aluminum head LT1 with a CC305 cam ran on the stock van tune. Needs some fueling and timing adjustments to make power but it had flawless driveability.
