    ISO gen3 ls tuning advise

Having issues trying to tune new set up. My experience is limited, I will try to explain as best as possible. I have a 1987 rx7 with a 2004 6.0 lq9 with a stage 3 btr cam. It is mated to a manual ar5 transmission. The electronic throttle valve is a 2004 along with the tac module and pedal all from a 2004 silverado.

From what I have read and tried I believe I'm having issues with my silverado tune because it is from an automatic transmission. With the speed sensor unplugged I can drive it with good power bun no drivability, it stalls during down shifting even with dfco parameters disabled. With speed sensor connected it is hugely reduced in power and still has stalling problems, even with idle increased and spark timing modified for cam.

I have tried a 2004 corvette manual trans tune but quickly learned that the truck ITV setup will not respond properly. So then I attempted segment swapping using ls droid. I used the corvette bin file and swapped a 2004 escalade engine and systems segments over. Unfortunately the throttle still responds as it did with the stock corvette tune. I'm using tunerpro to tune. Last year I had a stock 2004 5.3 and was able to get it working well enough to drive with the manual trans but it still had lots of drivebility issues. With the cam in the 6.0 it is nearly impossible to drive.

If someone could give me some advice or point me in the right direction or even better send me a base tune that I could start with. I'm using 12587603 bin files. Thanks!

Maybe try using universal patcher for segment swap, or you can with U/P compare tables of different OS's and copy everything over to a manual bin? I think if your tune is somewhat close, I would try using U/p to seg swap.

I would swap trans and trans diag

Thanks for the advise, I will try this out later today. As far as my tune being close, probably not. I'm just using base files I've found on this site to segment swap and will build from there. I will post my results. Thanks again

If you could post up the bin you used that had good throttle response, I could swap one for you to try if I get a chance.

If you could do that for me it would greatly appreciated. Attached is the stock 6.0 lq9 tune that was working well with my throttle setup. From there I should be able to get it tuned. Thanks Ralmo94!

    To Segment Swap with U/P
    Utilities > Patcher
Original File - Select the one with the engine cal you want to use
    Swap Segments
Select segment to swap [ trans cal ]
Extract from File [ file with segment you want to swap in ]
    Apply
Extract from file [trans diag ]
    Apply
    OK
    Save Bin { give it a new name as [ Seg Swaped LQ9 Manual ] or something }

So I've tried swapping the manual and manual diag segments to the lq9 file, it was successful in the process but the result that it would not Rev past 1500 rpm with or without wheel speed. I have read about a simular experience on another post.
The next thing I tried was to swap the engine cal and engine diag segments to the manual bin. The result was a crank no start situation. The only change that was made aside from this was deleting the vats.

My question is can someone get me this file in .bin format 1GCEK14V14Z268035. It would be greatly appreciated as there seems to be a little more than just swapping the segments to get this combination to work. Thanks

here is the one I swapped, if you post yours, i could see if is the same or not

the one with a 2 at the end of the file name I did some quessing to the differences between the escalade and the manual bin. looks like the manual bin wasn't a DBW.
Included is the log of changes from the first modified bin
