Welcome!
Gonna need a means to see data (ALDL cable), modify binaries (TunerPro RT) and write (burner) modifed bins to PROMS (chips).
Assuming you have http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...Information-AO in which the http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...Information-42 is a pin for pin plug and play match.
Thank you for the help, I was able to get ahold of an autoprom and have tunerpro. I just got the G2 adapter to use a 28 pin chip. I have the 16144288 ECM, is there a reason to switch to a 1227747? I read about upgrading to the 16197427, but not going to the 7747.
Only bc the 7747 has been hacked to death from the beginning of time. I*think*the 288 has enough in the xdf to get you by for all intents and purposes. I like the 7427 upgrade due to the datalogs providing more data quicker.
Nothing wrong with G2 but I prefer doing it this way...

Also the 7427 code can be modified to run electric fans.
The $0D xdf is well commented. There also are stock S10 bins on the $0d information page

Comments also explain how to connect wide band into data stream for data logs.
No need to re-invent the wheel. But we can make it better
