    Trimalyzer seting/profiles

I always use same setting for analysis, and just get mad when every time I have to click all the filters and settings. Is there a way to preset some options or create profiles so that I just add log and click analyser button.?

    I know what you mean.
Settings I don't think so. Maybe if Enough of us asked nicely stevo could add something like a saved profile?

As far as filters, after you set them, click the remember button. Then the next time hit recall. Works great until you accidentally hit remember again. When you hit remember it remembes the current filters.
No need to re-invent the wheel. But we can make it better

also there's no reason to get 'mad' at it because you click a few extra buttons, it's a free tool i wrote when i barely even owned a car

It would be useful to have a different profile of filters and such for tuning different vehicles.
I have edited the source files and built a version for using with HP tuners to deal with HP logging MAP in psi rather than kpa,
and have a custom dictionary file that pertains to OBD2 HPT channels. works well.
Might be the best free program I have found yet. Steveo, If you are interested in further development, it could be even beter.

it would be quite easy to make it so when you hit 'remember' it asks you for a name, and when you hit 'recall' it brings up a list of available filter sets

it would be medium difficulty to make a 'save' function that saves all the filters and settings

i don't have any spare time to put into it for now but that's why it's open source, because eventually i knew it would need to be improved and i wouldn't care anymore

if anyone ever wrote a patch to enable such functionality i would happily look it over, double check it for bugs, and add it to the official version so everyone can enjoy

the software is also totally free to fork, if you wanted to make your own trimalyzer and call it someone else, just copy it and go for it

I wish it was as easy for me as it is you. It took me months to be able to get map to resister correctly as kpa, enable clipboard modification for maf mode and build with no errors. I'm just a construction guy that never finished highschool, stay in school kids.
I completely understand that you are focusing your time on a new exciting project. Looking forward to seeing it.
Trimalyzer has proved to be more accurate than using histograms in TP & HP for me.
