Some of you I know on other forums, most probably not. so here is a little intro...

My name is Dave, I run an electronics repair/engineering shop at a fairly large casino in the midwest. I've been building/swapping engines into anything with wheels for over 20 years. About 10 years ago i got bored with carbbed V8's and moved on to the GM '660 platform. At the beginning it was for gas mileage, now it's more about the wild builds.

I've done a few wild swaps into J-Bodies, my own was a '91 Z24 5 speed with a '04 3500 V6, .549 lift/293 advertised 110 LSA cam, hand built EQ-LT's. OBD1, $A1 mask on a 1227730 with roughly 200 hours of tuning. It put down 275 WHP and ran a 13.07 @ 108 MPH. Highway gas mileage peaked at 35 MPG with about 12-15 city.

My most recent swap is a 3500 V6 into a '89 Camaro. The car had a 2.8 V6 from the factory, then a few random SBC swaps that were sub 300 HP. I found the car after it had been neglected for several years, picked it up for a grand and gave the owner back his 327/TH350 combo.

It now has the 3500 v6 from my old Cavalier bolted to a built 700R4 with a 3500 stall. It's still using a '7730 ECM with $A1 mask although this time I added a one-off set of ITB's to the mix along with better headers, a little more top end porting and other random goodies. I'm expecting high 12's N/A after getting the tune dialed in. So far the logs are showing a decent VE change between the old setup and the new. HP should be closer to 350 @ the crank now but i'll find out for sure after a few hours on the rollers.

Anyways, I've been tuning for a long time so i hope to be able to contribute something to this forum. Here are a couple pics of the current project... It still needs some TLC but at this point it runs and drives.
