    p59 2003 TAC (DBW) OS - Swap from 12597120 to ??

I have a junkyard LQ4 with loom and ECU, but unfortunatley it is OS12597120, so no XDF for it, hence not configurable, is there a suitable 'universal' OS that I can flash to the PCM that will work with DBW and TH350 transmission, maybe '12587603'?

I'm a newbie, so go easy on my heavily weathered grey matter!

If I’m not mistaken you’re probably going to have to find the closest matching bin and xdf (I’m going to say 7603) to your setup and then do a Segment swap for the TH350. I did a quick search and couldn’t find a Lq4 th350 bin

Thanks, I already have the 7603 OS file and a fairly generic bin file for it, I just need to do some research now and figure how to write it all to the PCM, I'm still building the motor so have time to read up. Cheers for your help.

PCM Hammer is your ticket to read/write to the P59. Build a bench harness and you're ready to go.

So, new OS written to the PCM (12587603), read the bin and opened into tuner pro, switched the VATS off and saved. . . . . . When I save it has a 'checksum' error but it opens back into tuner pro ok, with the VATS off.
I've seen a few threads with people getting the error but there doesn't seem to be a straight answer why, I'm just a little worried about writing the new bin to my PCM.
One step forward two back haha.

A bad or missing checksum DLL file in Tuner Pro RT is causing this problem. You should go back to the Tuner Pro RT site, grab that DLL file and load it where that site says for it to go. Otherwise, use a program called "Universal Patcher" to fix the bad checksum. Don't load your file with the bad checksums.

Thanks Rick, I had the wrong DLL file for the XDF I was using, saves without the warning now so I'll try writing the file back to the PCM.

Can you post the lq4 bin file with the non electric trans so I can segment swap as well? Please and thanks, I understand this is over a year old but figured I'd try anyways.
