    OBDII Splitter cable

Just looking around at all available OBII scan cables and software and seems to be a huge selection of stuff, let alone wireless and stuff with little blinky lights to tell you if you'll pass emmisions just a wild selection. I can see where some people would buy some of these things and someone is making money... some might acually be useful!

Then I bumped into this and thought, "Cool!" "Cheap!" But then why?

OK you could use it with this and still hook up a scantool!!! "Cool!" "Cheap!" Still wondering why?

that "box" one looks like it's used to confirm that modules are responding on the circuit when polled.... otherwise, i have no idea why you would need LEDs on the circuit.

the splitter cable.... that could have quite a few uses, some nefarious, others confusing.

All that seller's cables are cheap. Prolly based overseas where labor costs dollars per day.
