OBDII Datastream Parser for ELM327-Based Interfaces

TunerPro has a plugin to read data from OBDII systems. I just learned this from Robert, maybe he could tell us more on how to use this Plugin and what kind of cable to get to interface the OBDII system?

LOL, not a clue, i don't have any OBD2 vehicles to test it on either.

in reality, any ELM327 based cable should work though, even some of the "ELM327" cables that come straight out of china for less than the cost of the actual IC from ELM themselves.

    So the ALDU1 with CABL2 wouldn't work?

honestly, i wouldn't know.... the way OBD2 communicates is VERY similar to GM OBD1, in that in the header of every message, it wants to know what module should respond, etc...

the ELM IC translates a standard RS232 based message to the standard used for whatever vehicle it's plugged into, the VPW and all that jazz... if it was similar enough, it would work, but i don't know enough about the OBD2 comm standards to be certain.
