    1994 4L60E converter control

    94 Z28 LT1 with 4L60E. Does the pushing the brake pedal in command the torque converter to unlock?

    I want to be able to disable lockup in certain driving conditions. Can I achieve this by simply putting a toggle switch in the wire that runs to the brake pedal switch?

    Yes, removing ground from PCM (don't remember PIN number it is) by brake pedal unlocks the TCC.

    Should also be able to add the performance mode shift tables. If desired you can disable the lockup and make the shift pattern much more aggressive. Performance mode switch is added by adding a momentary switch between two existing wires to temporarily tie them together for an enable signal. The WS6s came with it from GM.
