How to set timing 88 5.7

My '86 Squarebody is on the rad support. next body style (1988-1995) AFAIK is on the air cleaner. at least the '92 GMC c2500 that is in my garage getting worked on is. While the squarebody style technically ran until '92, I believe it's common place that 1988 is referring to the 88-98 body style.

Depends on where that silverado was made. I have a customer that has both an 89 and a 90 square body and both are OEM 350 Q-Jet setups and both came from GM with the suburban front clip. Both of his trucks have 083 heads and the bowtie intake manifold without EGR. Both were catless dual exhaust with factory style shorty headers as well. He also has a 98 2 door Tahoe with a factory TBI system.
