ok i got all my issues solved.. the data error was caused by the default setting in device manager for the com port being 9600 .
after changing it to something higher than that it works fine now...

recently found and resolved all the issues i was having connecting and data logging from the ECM...
first the 2 transistor circuit..forget it ppl..i tried 4 different versions and none worked..
