I have on LS1 512k and 1mb and E38. I have cloned several 0411 ecms and cloned a 1mb. I wasnt able to on an e38 though. Read and write works on all three. I bought an ebay Fgtecg that did not work at...

So the fgtech I got off eBay I could not read and of the tested ecms in the threads. I had updated the firmware in it via an online tutorial and it works great for bdm reads.
