I converted my 5.0 TBI Camaro over to the 7427 PCM and I started with this bin http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Injection/attachment.php?attachmentid=715&d=1323147784. It's BJFD described as 94 C-K...
Finally finished up my trigger wheel! It took me awhile lol, I was hoping to have it all done by now but was super busy at work and now it's slowed down(kinda lame when your flat rate though).
...
Finally got around to doing some more work on the trigger wheel between work, xmas and life been kinda cramped for time. Work has slowed down thanks to the holidays which sucks cause I get flat rate...
As for the hitch my Camaro had what I assume to be a dealer installed one on it. Digging through the spare tire well one day I found the installation instructions for it that had a date of 3/88 and...
Yep that's what I do. I use one called GPS Speedo, really simple, free and even has a HUD that'll display on the windshield. The HUD only works at night cause the screen isn't bright enough though.
...
Yeah I seen that, you got lucky lol. Them N*'s are a major PITA to do just about anything on. When I was younger and dumber had a '94 Eldorado Touring Coupe that I blew the motor up in racing a turbo...
Been working on doing the N* DIS swap on the little 305. So far I've got the coil packs/module/crank sensors.
I decided to try and machine a trigger wheel myself, it'll be some work but it'll...
Yep all manual third gen f bodies were either a v6 or 5.0. My understanding is GM was concerned that the t-5 wouldn't handle the 5.7's torque. Why not take a 5.0 manual bin and swap over the spark...
I did both... Unfortunately I was more successful at one than the other.
Happy late birthday. I've got about 2 1/2 years before I hit the big 30. I already feel old, tore my ACL on a bmx bike when I was 14 and my back got screwed working with idiots that couldn't listen...
Apparently I posted from a old account I had on here that I forgot I had? I dunno I've been up since 3:30am(gotta be at work at 5am) and am half asleep now lol
Yeah the Impala's are easy for the...
If it has a 4L80E it's probably gonna be $0E.
I looked up the switch on Autozone's website and it only has two terminals. That's the only one to as I remember thats the only electrical connector I had to unplug when I dropped the trans out. I...
Thanks I'll look that up, didn't know the trans has a switch for that I thought it just had the one for the reverse lights. The brakes were simple enough to do. The hard part was making the caliper...
Anyone have any experience with the shift light in $0D? It works just fine until I'm cruising in 5th, anything over 2200 rpm or so it lights up the shift light telling me to shift but theres no gear...
lmao
Now you've got me thinking.... You have a link to where their talking about it? If tunerpro works with the roadrunner I can justify the price of that. Might would pick up a LQ4 6.0 and flip the...
Here's the link http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles/ccrp_1111_small_block_chevrolet_ls_conversion/ I thought they were using the LT1 computer but started with a TPI computer so they did gain SFI as...
I've had plenty of problems with stock replacement and performance parts. I agree they should of stated what ports they were for though. What the others are saying would work fine, just be easy on...
The LS stuff would be cool, especially with control of individual cylinder's fueling. But I can't stomach the price of tuning software and the Wife probably wouldn't be to happy about it too lol....
That marine stuff would make it easier but pricier. I forget the site but they listed the bracket for the sensors for $126!
From what I've read it lets the engine start faster by being able to...
Got bored and played around with Google Sketch Up some and came up with this. The bolt holes for mounting it to the balancer aren't where they need to be but this is what I'm shooting for the trigger...
Yeah I priced it out to be something like $2000 for the accessory drive, oil pan, intake, headers, tuning software/pcm and not including the engine price. My Dad has the equipment to do everything...
Love those trucks, before I got married used to have a '96 with a worked over 500 Caddy/TH400 in it. Surprised many a SRT-4 and STI with it lol. I learned the hard way though that stock Caddy rods...
