Ok Thanks guys. So when adjusting my openloop idle for a cam I should have been working in the AFR table and not the BLM table?
But even so how does the computer know how to achieve 12 or 13 or anything that isn't 14.7?
I'm looking at the rpm / map AFR table and I'm wondering how this works on a narrow band system?
I modified my CTS something or another Map and Temp table to 20‰ and that worked! Thanks so much!
It had problem parsing my Advanced $0D file, sent a bug report.
Where in drop box to I put the bin?
Immediately just showing it would be cooler. Just show the current value on the right. We can see the value of the check boxes... why not put a text of the value in the non-checkbox values?

Thanks. I'm higher compression too. I forgot I had got it decked when I wrote that.
Also, dumb question... but... if my blms are 128 open loop (stoich), is a value of 120 in a cell richer or...
Awesome, thanks!
The only comment so far is tge settings page should show the current selected value. I git a OTG for my phone, my tabket takes a 30 pin connector n that OTG was ordered today.
Hi. I have an APU1, what in addition to the app do I need to buy?
I'd like to do tuning. How would I connect the APU1 to my phone? Can I use the data logging in the APU1 or do I need that device...
So I tuned my system when the weather was nice. But now we are sub-0c. I started her up and she was rough, really rough. Normally I can druve her away and she is warm in a few minutes. Last night...
That thread is incomplete. But I found a reference that I would consider crucial. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-3TtHYp_pMxazBIaVRiTDJpc2s/view?usp=sharing
It's more complicated than that. Please see this PDF: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-3TtHYp_pMxazBIaVRiTDJpc2s/view?usp=sharing
It discusses many of the key engine parameters and explains them...
Ok New Question
I currently am forcing open loop mode with a high closed loop temperature. How do I make the PCM do open loop idle and closed loop everything else?
Thanks, it took slightly more that 1/4 turn and she's bouncing between 12-18. Idle is a tad lower now too, bouncing around it's set point.
It's not going to be confused with my open loop idle?
Why is the IAC moving at all?
I hesitate because I tuned it once. What should happen eventually? It started out ok but kept lowering...
Thanks Brian! I'll get on that in the morning.
My idle is spoothest at that. I tweaked fuel and spark to get it that smooth. Now, I could probably cut the timing a bit but it would sound worse. I...
Your mods would be pretty standard I think. You would only need a 2bar MAP and do a standard dist conversion (points to electronic pickup)
Maybe use a setup off a pontiac firebird?
Thanks Brian!
I could never figure out what I needed to connect VSS to the PCM. Accounts vary. Some talk about a vehicle signal buffer. Is that in my computer? A separate external module?

This stuff remains between switching PCMs. Only replacing the memcal without the adapter works.
I'm testing a proper EEPROM in the G1, and not the emulator in the G1. This will let me know if it...
Sorry, I thought a megasquirt was a computer, leaving you with just a GM engine block.
Not knowing much about what MS expects, you need to have something that is level-compatible with it, and...
I would have thought that switching PCMs would have provided the appropriate power cut? Unless limp home mode has something to do with the ignition control module?
I have only tuned the spark timing to match the distributor specs of the IH dist. -- EXCEPT idle and 400 RPM to stop a stall.
I have only tuned fuel for best sounding idle. The rest is GM
Idle...
Here is a log.
UPDATE!
I still have problems but what I found was placing the original memcal and program back in (removing the G1 adapter) cleared the error. I have no idea why. Maybe my G1 adapter is bad?
