That doesn't make any sense, since I use a '7730 for bench testing and a '7749 in my car and use the same ADX file in both cases for $59.
It may be a port setting issue of the computer itself, and not a problem with the ADX file at all.
There is information about that on TGO or the Tuner Pro forums.
The code is the same, regardless of whether it is running in a '7749 or a '7730.
I can't help with the communication problems, $59 has always connected for me on both my laptop and my PC.
The 3 BAR MAP will work fine, especially with $59, with the extended tables.
In most cases the reduced reaolution won't be a problem or even noticed.
$59 requires a 3 BAR MAP anyway.
Don't copy values in tables over, especially VE and spark tables. The calculations are different between differen codes, and can cause problems when swiching to a different mask.
That's essentially the same. The difference is probably in the calculation used in the XDF. I also notice that whan some. Ales are saved they save as a slightly different value than input.
I think fasteddie was referring to his engine as a "six shooter," which is where my name mostly comes from. ;)
You shouldn't have to change much more than what you already have to get the engine...
