I really don't have much to add, but could the module in the HEI be going bad? Was it installed with the proper heat conducting paste?

I just ran an old log with your analyzer, and I made it work the first time. That says volumes for your coding abilities, thank you for your efforts.
I just completed installing a new motor 383, 10 1/2:1, 225/231 w/.540",114 lobe sep. 36 lb injectors in a Superram[ I've only got 200 miles on it, and the tune is ok, but far from done. I'm using...
Will do, probably Friday.
Count me in, if anyone needs help like that it's me!
Pouring rain when I got home last night, couldn't do any logging. Maybe tonite, but now we have a hurricane to think about. Those spikes were a quick and dirty run thru a spreadsheet, no finesse or...
I took a closer look at my VE tables this weekend, ( BTW, I am using the extended table, to 6400 rpm) and yes, it does look a little lean. I did richen everything beyond 3000, and took it out for a...
Thanks for looking, that run was to try and capture the instances where the system went lean. What's strange is the data points that are missing, from 3000 to 4000 at less than 95 kpa.
Wow, that does look bad- I'm glad it's not mine. Seriously, thanks for looking into this but I think you have the wrong dxf or mask. I'm using S_AUJP V5 I'm at work now, so I can't post shots of my...
Did a quick data run today, I saw some knock retard in the areas in question. I disabled knock retard and went out for a while to run some errands, problem persists. Attached are my bin file and...
Now I understand, no ignition means no combustion, so no oxygen is consumed. My head was thinking since the bpw was high, too much fuel would be in the exhaust, causing rich condition...duh I bet a...
Thanks for the reply, I need all the help I can get. Prior to installing the WB, I assumed the lean condition because the motor had a "lean cough" when it was stumbling.
At first I thought it was...
Thank you for your reply,I'll try to do some runs this weekend. I'm using a -727 ecm from a '91 vette, SAUJP v5. As stated the motor is a 383, TPIS mini ram, 224/230 @ .050 cam .510 lift. 700r4...
I have a 383 with a mini-ram, and the injector bpw at 3500 is 9.2 ms or so, and at the same time it's going extremely lean-22.45 on WB afm. The fuel pressure is steady at 45 or so. I know I'm not...
What is the difference between BLM fine and BLM main, and which one would be best to use for VE tuning?
Thank you, that makes sense. I'll keep plugging along.
My mistake, I thought the extended tables filled the gaps in the upper table. So- how do I tune the gaps between 16-1800, etc?
It seems to me that with a 3.64 gear I spend a lot of time in the 2100 to 2300 rpm range. Adjusting the blm's at 1600,2000 and 2400, leaves a lot of holes in the tables. Am I doing something wrong...
Is there an 8D bin available that has the extended ve tables in it already? I confess I know nothing about how to add them in, but I do know I won't be able to get a good tune without them.
I won't waste anyone's time, I'll just be lurking and listening until I learn enough to ask intelligent questions.
Here I go again, is it possible to read/upload the bin file from an existing chip? I'm using a Moates auto-prom.
Thanks for the help guys, I'll give it a try.
Why when I download those files do they come up with a .php extension? do I have to re-name them?
I'm just beginning this project, so please have patience. I cannot find xdf or adx files in Tunerpro (RT) or anywhere else for a 727 ecm from a "91 corvette TPI mtr. The chip is from a well known...
hi all, just got the software and hardware to tune my 383 mini-ram small block. I'm going to need all the support you guys can give. Thanks in advance
