Those pigtails are known to break internally. Tug on pigtail modestly and read the resistance.

If TBI, I know the late 80s ECMs are different than Later 90s TBI PCMs. Totaly diffrent harness connectors at computer.
Also if Automatic on later ones. Quite a bit of wires missing if a manual...
