I've been watching the discussion casually and recognized the value of tuning the EOIT parameter(s) a while back, but simply lacked the time to research. Since I'm sitting at home tonight anxiously...
Excellent work - it built for 64 bit linux on QT 5.10.1 with only one warning (an unused cylinder trim variable).
Flashed without issue, started and ran. Logs attached.
Edit: btw, I reverted...
I might have time to test this weekend. Any chance you could post the source so I can build it for linux?
I don't think you're alone in having experienced that phenomenon.
All due respect, you're certain to have a better grasp of it than I do. Integrator delay jumps to top of mind. I haven't...
Thanks - I haven't compared to what I did yet but I probably skipped the step of saving the bin before trying to apply the patches.
I really need to rip the wound back open and delve into some of...
I'm getting the indeterminate data error after removing and applying most of these - is that normal? Unless you've made progress on patching through eehack, could you take a look at these bins? These...
Your comment leads me to believe you've evidently never worked with anything in the .NET realm.
I can forgive a great many shortcomings when I can download a linux distro for the cost of...
Sorry didn't get these done sooner, hope I didn't hold up your work.
Found some info on the issue I was seeing with QtPrintSupport missing, so added a second qt version check in qcustomplot.h -...
No problem, I'll try to get it done and post back later today / tonight.
I still haven't had a chance to test, but I had some time today to port some older mods into the 4.9 branch you posted earlier. Things like tying accelerator keys to functions in the controller ui....
Understandable.
Here are all the diffs - they're all relatively minor so it shouldn't be a problem applying them without using the patch binary. I don't think I have a working version of QT older...
My preferred method of antivirus is to avoid using any microsoft operating system. It gives me "plausible deniability" when someone asks if I can clean their machine. I simply reply "sorry, I haven't...
I'm not sure I've seen one that should be "on the market". Antivirus software is a lot like credit monitoring / identity theft protection, the majority of which are marketed by the companies that...
Thanks, I'll report back if and when I get to test. I'm currently fighting with an untested diy-ltcc prototype, so I may be several days before I'm ready to tweak on the bin.
edit: I meant to add...
I'm hoping to have mine running tonight or tomorrow and I'd love to test, any chance you could post a zip of the source or create a fork on github?
Perfect! I'd found it's next to impossible to use a touchpad or even a mouse to adjust these while sitting in an idling car with a choppy cam.
You're awesome for implementing the individual trims...
I'm anxious to test this out! Unfortunately I'm several weeks away from having something running to test on.
One suggestion I would make on the slider(s) is to hook the valueChanged() event...
Blip? Bug? In the 90s we called stuff we didn't understand a "glitch".
It's simple to filter these out in trimalyzer b/c I just compare knock count from the last, current, and next frame...
Per our discussion in the trimalyzer thread, can you speculate why eehack isn't discarding trashed frames?
Am I correct to assume that's what's supposed to happen here in aldl_read_reply()?

I just bit the bullet and tried a flash using the version I modified that we've been discussing. I wasn't clear which rev limiter was used on a manual car so I set the 1st gear limit to 1700 and...
Sent you some diffs, check your PMs.
I left the body selector more or less alone because if the ECM is bus master on the b-bodys it's important to silence things in the correct order. There's...
That makes sense.
Sending mode 08 to the ABS module gave me a much cleaner logging session with the "service ABS" light on. The serial errors I noticed seemed to mostly happen after hitting some...
Sweet, thanks! This gives me a few ideas.
I guess I'm going to try sending it a mode 08 and see what happens. Being a slave I can't imagine it will have any effect, and there was no mention of...
95 Y body M6
Whatever it is, I'm still not seeing that same broadcast heartbeat even after disconnecting the battery last night and an hour long logging session with a fuel-up stop this morning.
Wanted to update anyone interested, I've had very promising results working on a connection sequence that will work on the y-bodies. I will be testing more over the next few days and getting patches...
