Cured it with new Dorman sending unit and Quick Fuel Hot Wire Kit.
I had a bunk sending unit as well that was causing all hell. Replaced it with a Dorman and also made dedicated grounds to chassis, and put a Quick Fuel Hotwire kit in it.
Would it matter that Im running 95 TBI sending unit with a vortec pump? Also would a fuel pulsator have anything to do with drop off? I am not running one of those.
I still am struggling trying to figure this out. Put a full tank of gas in and tried it and it still did the hesitations. I checked relay, wiring, ground. Today checked the little air hole in the...
The pump is brand new as well as sock and fuel filter. Had the box off and checked baffles, they are solid. I watched fuel pump voltage on computer and its 13.4 steady if I remember right. What I...
Hey guys,
Haven't posted in a while. Here is the problem. My fuel pressure stays steady at 28-29 psi. Under WOT from dead stop stays at 28psi, then at 3k rpm it drops off down to 15 psi, truck...
I would recommend the Sonnax Performance Pack, you still can get smooth shifts. IMO
My initial base timing is give or take alittle 8.1 degrees advanced with ESC unplugged. Trans fluid smells good, not burnt, I dont know why that would be, I assume converter slips maybe at that point...
This product is an excellent investment. Im glad Dave recommended it, works great with the long distance, instead of waiting for chip in mail!
Re-did Logs after I installed new TPS. I think those are the correct xdf. and adx. files to few logs on TunerPro RT. Let me know if they are not. There are daily driving, starting, idle, highway...
Last night when I was driving around (highway cruise) it kept locking on me at low rpms 1000 to 2000 whenever I would roll into throttle. I would have to let completely off throttle, then roll in too...
Thanks for this information. I will retain this in my brain, so if I have any problems or decide to do this it will help me.

Thanks Dave, I put new TPS in and now Im going to re-do data logs for better accuracy. I will post them soon.
Thanks

Hey guys,
Wanted to share some current data logs. Any opinions or advice would be awesome, try to keep it on a beginners level hah. Still drops rpm and stumbles briefly under deceleration(could...
Hey guys,
I started it up and it ran but it had prominent intermediate shake/shock like a miss on idle and somewhat cleared up when rpm is increased, but Im pretty sure timing and plugs are right....

Hey guys,
To answer about the pump and valve body bores they were all good still, minimal if not any wear. Got my Sonnax kit and Servos in and trans rebuilt. Going to start putting it together on...
Roadknee, Yes original, 114k, I have not torn into valve body or pump yet was waiting for Sonnax kit first. Im pretty sure its the TCC apply valve that wears out thats in valve body don't quote me....
Hey guys,
Haven't posted in a while, I tore trans down and found why it burnt up, it was from a checkball peening its self into the separator plate. I guess its a pretty common problem with...
Superbee good idea. I got that TB today from RV Morse, in person you can tell there is definitely a difference. I took a picture but I don't think you can tell very good the difference between the...
Thanks Superbee! With the advice that was given to me on fuel pump I think a EP381 is best for what Im going to do with it. Fast355, I had no idea TBI heads had better low-range than a Vortec!? I was...
Hey guys,
